Might be a good plan to upgrade to the GSXR one or a yamaha R1 mosfet

Cheers for that mate. I might do that. I did read that on a few different web sites, the MOSFET unit from the Honda CBR 600 seems to be a favorite.

There's a good few different options and don't forget to check out the rest of the system incase something got toasty.

Everything has been checked over and is all fine thankfully. Fried battery changed, just need to change the rectifier now. It's charging at 15.5 volts on idle!!
