Default My Home Made TomTom Mount

Where to mount yer TomTom has come up a few times, here's what I came up with at no extra cost.
Used the original car mount that came with my TomTom One.
Long bolt,(not to long that it passes the wing nut, in case you decide to head butt in a crash) wing nut, and few pieces of rubber in between all the parts.
Doesn't obstruct the clocks, or interfere with the steering.
Mike

Looks just the ticket, sometimes the most simple solutions are the best .. Get a knife out on the excess rubber square bit though, its a neat job, might as well make it proper neat!!

I am not sure I need sat-nave meseln ... I kinda know the way to the petrol station and back now!!

And I would put a washer between the wingnut and the washer

And if you come up to Soho on a Friday (tho not this Friday, I wont be there) I can bring a 1" punch and make your rubber bit round for you

Pop into your local plumbers merchants, they'll have just the thing you're after.
