I'm going to have to send my exhaust back to the factory for repair (lifetime warranty )
But that means I'm going to need to fit a temporary replacement.

Thinking of spending £30 on a Sodial. It would only have to be on the bike for a couple of weeks. Has anyone any experience of these?

So where is the fault? Breville making undersized toasters or Warburtons making oversized bread?
Get the old one back out of the bin

i have this SS 4 slice which has been superb. if the bread is too tall you can lay it on its side in the toaster. only fault is that the toaster dont do really thick stuff like bagels.

i use warburtons toastie bread and it fits fine.

if you want a toaster that should last a lifetime buy a Dualit.

I had to have my beloved Iggle cat put to sleep on Monday. He was only 9 but had been battling kidney failure for a few years. In fact the vet gave him a few months to a year to live about 3 1/2 years ago and was amazed he lasted as long as he did, especially as right up until this week you'd never have guessed how poorly he was apart from being terribly thin.

When the time came I called the vet to do a home visit. This meant me, Stu, Iggle and his bro Piggle could spend his last few hours together having cuddles in the garden. In the end it was very peaceful and instead of the nurse holding him and checking his heart rate as he went to sleep I did it myself.

I miss him terribly, the house is so quiet without him. Piggle is off his food and although he knows his brother has gone he is mourning him. We'll decide in a few weeks if we want to adopt another cat to keep Piggle company.

Sorry to hear that LPH. It's a terrible time, but it will have been the right thing. You just have to carry on and get through it. You get used to the differences, but they never really go away.

That's really sad news LPH. It's heartbreaking losing pets, they become such a big part of our lives. You have lots of happy memories of him to hang on to though.

Several.....
  • Two nights of sleeping badly, feeling almost hungover from lack of sleep.
  • Looking after a friends dog, Sooty, who has been something of a nightmare this time. Keeps crapping in the house, about 6 -7 times since Tuesday. Final straw came last night when she crapped again on the landing and I stepped in it with bare feet in the dark on my way to the toilet.
  • Skimbleshanks, our cat, has absconded because we have Sooty in the house and we're all missing him.
  • My friend has messaged to say that her car has broken down and she can't get back till Tuesday instead of tomorrow. I have to find some way of having Sooty looked after somewhere else as I can't cope with her in the house any more.
  • And I've gone from having almost no work over the last few weeks to having more than I know what to do with this week (of all weeks)
