Not that one. A bit too much plastic on it.

Put the Perkeo shutter back together
http://www.instagram.com/p/BTuT6Y_F1...driguez.568294
it still feels like there's a hump it needs to get over when closing, but it doesn't seem to affect the operation. That and one of the screws for the shutter casing I had in half the other day is now solid, solid as a rock, so I thought I'd chance my arm and all seems fine. Will check the speeds but I think with these you get no adjustment anyway. After that just a case of putting it back together.

What speed was that set on? I tend not to use anything below 1/100 anyway. I won the Durst Automatica by the way. Was looking the photos and I am hoping that the dead meter is just the fact that the ISO speed is set to six. I don't know about your libraries up there but down here we can get free magazines to download. Amateur Photographer is on there as well as Digital Camera magazine.

1/5th I think. The speeds came out as:
1s was actually 0.85s (1/1.2)
1/2 was 1/2.2
1/5 was 1/3.6
1/10 was 1/7.8
1/25 was 1/23
1/50 was 1/37
1/100 was 1/62
1/300 was 1/220
So all a bit slow but more or less as you would expect. The lumpiness may be a part of it but it fires reliably on all speeds, an sounds nice. I'll finish it off tonight and get it in the post, I'm away next week in Wolverhampton again so wanted to wrap it up.

The Durst is an interesting camera, if it had a case then there's a good chance the cell is fine, and I think the Radionar lens should work well. The automation is pneumatic so check for perished tubing inside.

Thats great news Johnny, the shots I took with HP5 came out ok so should be ok. Apparently the lower speeds are slow... but again, I rarely use them so it shouldn't be an issue. The camera can be used in manual mode anyway. Just deciding what cameras to take away at the end of the month. Trip 35 is a must. Want to visit here too: https://www.visit-dorset.com/things-...e-pool-p127283 as it just around the corner from Corfe Castle. There is a heritage railway at Swannage too.

Grr double exposure lock is playing up, will see to that, maybe I've crossed it up somehow but apparently it happens from time to time. Will get there soon! I can put in the flash and the 120 film from my Ensign (the one that was in it), have you got C41 stuff yet?

Takes bulbs, it came with the Ensign, you said you wanted it. I also eventually downloaded the manual for the little Olympus one you sent (butkus), they thyristor is hidden behind the logo on the front, so yes it is auto; I think the prongs are for a multi-flash set-up or something. Not tried it yet though.

Discovery of the day - tried the XD5 battery holder in the XG-M and it lives again!
