New Estate Wagon
Well I bought this just before heading off on holiday on a bit of a whim, it's just getting some paintwork sorted and then I pick it up a week today
A nice 2.8 with the M50 inlet conversion, de-cat and M3 exhaust, lowered a tad on coilovers, some 8j wheels and arch rolling, ideal for lugging surfboards and mountain bikes, and a bit more fun than the old Skoda estate! I'm looking forward to some straight six in my life By the way the Skoda will be up for sale soon, just getting the MOT sorted (two bushes in the suspension need changin, apart from that it would have passed today with flying colours). |

Re: New Estate Wagon
Very nice Tim! This is the way to roll with the M52 - release all those horses that BMW held back for tax or license purposes if memory serves?
Looks great

Re: New Estate Wagon
Manual!
Skoda is a 2001 Skoda Octavia Estate, the top of the range Laurin and Klement version with a 150hp version of the petrol 1.8T, with leather, wood, electric windows, sunroof, cruise etc.. The car has served me well and is a great motorway cruncher, will do 40+mpg at 70mph, but is just a bit dull for me. Now I no longer do a UK-Holland commute it is time for some daily fun to sit alongside the MX5. Once the Skoda is sorted through the MOT I'll put up full details. |

Re: New Estate Wagon
Yep it's just a car, I don't have the time (guaranteed off) or garage space for track days this year, so it's running and surfing for me, this is more fun than the Skoda that it replaces, I have room in my heart for both bikes and cars though, especially at the bangernomics end of the scale!
The GSXR money has been invested elsewhere for a track return another time... |

Re: New Estate Wagon
I am disappointed Tim. Seeing my GSXR did not tempt you back into the fold.

Re: New Estate Wagon
Tempting to be back at the 'ring, but when when I can't be there 10+ times a year I'd get frustrated, I'm all or nothing with things, this year I'm going all out at something else with a short run, I'll be back with bikes again......
