Like I say, there are mixed reviews. There seem to be more bad than good but who knows, maybe people only review when things go wrong.

Nice, but a little bit out of my price range!

I spent all afternoon taking the not focussing properly 28mm apart. After 2 hours work, I can happily report that I've only made it worse, which is good I suppose because it does adjust.
Took the front 2 elements out and the rear, just leaving the barrel and the aperture mechanism alone. I can see what's happening; the barrel is coming too far in (so much so that one of the lugs controlling the aperture is disengaging) and not going far enough out. But I can't figure out how to fix it. Also, I found a couple of loose washers in the assembly. Not sure where they came from or why they were there.

Yeah, some things are best left alone or sent to Johnny to be fixed.

Going to print this:

Not strictly camera related but it is an aperture/iris. Also printed an M42 lens mount cap.

Cool! Maybe a daty question but would it be feasible to print aperture blades?
Being able to do lens caps and body caps is useful.

Not too sure, possible but I don't think my printer is that accurate. Need to print eleven blades and pins, four spacers and the framework.
