Default Sun bar risers

Hi All,

Just fitted a set of bar risers from Visionary Technologies (Sun bar riser kits) to my '99 S. What a difference! Much more flickable, great round town and full adjustable for those loony back lane days.

Anyone else tried 'em?

Regards

Rich

Yes me. And I agree with all your comments.

Did you glue yours?

i've just fitted them to my TL1000S...clipons are about 4 cms higher, and 3 cms wider (per bar), i used loctite 648 or something between the bars and risers ( cylindrical surfaces fixation), and it doesn't move at all!

i really like 'em alot, the bike is more flickable, unvoluntary wheelies happen more, and no more backache!

i had 'em gold anodized too

Does it involve extending any cables or electrics?

And what glue would you use?

http://www.cliponrisers.com/

in my case, all cables were good, except for the fast idle cable, which is going to have to be made longer. Dunno about esvee's though.

I had to trim the fairing too.

I had to fit a longer brake line. I needed to replace the lines anyway so I did both jobs at the same time.

I wasn't sure what glue to use. Sunriser suggest an epoxy glue, so I used araldite.

Do you mean the choke on the left switch gear (handle bar)?

Is there a possability of buying in bulk if several people want them, we might get a discount.

When you say longer brake lines, will the standard replacement two line system from HEL be ok or did you have to get them custom made up?
