any difference in this please

can anyone tell me if there is any difference between a 99 sv650s and a 2003 sv650s apart from the obvious sqaure frame

im lookin to install twin high level pipes , but the shop has sent me ones for a 2003 onwards

i own a 99 sv650s

will they still fit ?

please help me here , ive looked at the cans and im in love again !!!

did you get them off flebay by any chance?

no , i work in imports and exports for a large courier company and travel around a lot was over in italy for a meeting on monday/tuesday and picked these up straight from the shop in sant omera

was only asking coz there were 4 complete sets of twin pipe went on ebay the other day, 2 sets of alloy and 2 sets of carbon, got my alloy set for £139 posted. i'm well chuffed.

how did you get on fitting them?

Well I know a mate who got sent a 2003 'normal' level can on for his 2002 model found it rubed on the swing arm no mater how much he moved the routing around. So while it might work you as your cans are out of the way, you might have problems with the routing of the link pipes as the back ends, frame and swing arm ar different.
