race numbers
just had my entry forms through for 2010, getting close now!!! was just wondering when and how we find out our racing numbers????

you should sort them out through your race club. With North Gloucester, you just write your preferred number down on the race entry form and hope you get it. They also ask for them/assign them when you re-register with the club.

Yeah thats right with NG you write down your preferred number and a second choice on your club membership then they ignore it and give a completely different number well thats what happened to me anyway i sent 38 as 1st choice and 13 as second then got sent 31 as my number for the season not bothered as long as the bike goes well and i have some fun that will do.
Not sure what other clubs do but having the same number all year is a good idea. |

maybe I go for an unpopular number (you may well struggle to get 46 or something!), but I've always managed to get my 42
