Default Gulf of Mexico

Hope you don't mind a couple of non-SV photos:

This photo was taken at the "LAYBY" owned by the company I retired from. Located on Anna Maria Island, Florida. Gulf of Mexico:

Took this photo from the left seat of a Cessna Aerobat with the nose pointing almost straight up during a loop over Catawba County North Carolina:

I take photos everywhere I go in America, since I have never been to another country.

Thanks,

Saw the boat and took a photo. Lucky shot. All the photos I posted so far were taken with a Nikon Coolpix 4100 point & shoot digital camera.

Look about 25 miles SSW of St. Petersburg Florida and West of Bradenton on Rt. 64. It is connected to the mainland by bridges. The exact location is Holmes Beach, Florida on the Anna Maria Island North of Longboat Key.

Thanks,

So, near Sarasota? I have a webcam of Sarasota in my Favourites, I sit and look at it and dream...

Looks like rain there today - unusually

My camera died on a Dual Sport ride today. Learned a lesson to keep my camera in my jacket away from vibration and dust. Will buy a new one tomorrow.

Warthog, I moved to the Carolinas with work, got back into riding after a 30 year hiatus when I retired. Stayed in the Carolinas after retirement, and found this to be a wonderful place to ride! It was not planned, just happened!

Ed, My family and I still go to Anna Maria Island and take photos during every visit.

Here is a sunset. The locals normally come out at least 1/2 hour before sunset to watch the sun go down!

Just bought a $99 Nikon Coolpix L16 and took a few photos while at the Anna Maria Island last week. Can't wait to start taking motorcycle/mountain shots tomorrow!
