Leaks
Hello all .. sorry to keep pestering just wondered if anyone could help me after my sv has been sitting a while overnight once I start her up and out the choke on small deposits of clear oily substance liquid comes out my guess is brake fluid but it drips onto the exhaust pipe in the middle hope it's nothing serious scared to take her out now as I don't wanna run the bike dry on whatever the leak is .. by the sump nut there's oil on it too but it's not dripping .. I'm not very mechanical minded and my mechanic is sick so a bit stuck at the moment any ideas she's a 2001 plate s
Cheers in advance. |

Re: Leaks
check that all the breather hoses are connected to the air box. If they're not connected then oil mist in the air box will collect between the cylinders and then dip where you say. Especially given the age of the bike, mine have started to perish
