Test ride complete, really enjoyed the more upright rding position. May have to adjust gear lever position, definately mirrors. very responsive. Deposit paid.
Pick up in 10 days. To add to my current policy about £100.

yes yes but the biggest question is are you actually going to put some miles on it
saying that, you have more than likely rode more miles than me in the past 2 years

congratz on the new bike

Nice one Tim. Nothing like a new bike to make you want to get out there.

Out on this weapon. It's been a month or two and my muscle memory for it has totally gone. Bit of a shock trying to wrangle it and make it behave.

Location scouting for other plans in the pipeline too

Lots of byways near us.. mostly gravel. The Fosse Way and loads over Wiltshire way. It's going to be my economical commuter too (80ish mpg apparently!) so can't go too extreme on the tyres. The Michelin Siracs on there are not far off new either, so might have to stay with them for a while. Any budget is going into sprocket swaps and an EJK to give it a little more bite. That and getting some brake pads in it that actually work. Short test ride out this evening was a bit scary when I realised how bad the brakes are! Good job it doesn't get up to speed very quickly.
