Best roads from Stratford Upon Avon please - SV650.org

Hi Madlanders

Im spending Friday night in Stratford Upon Avon and am looking for a good route to ride Saturday and wondered if you could advise some of the best roads in the area. Id like to incorporate A44 (Fish Hill) and Ive read that A422 Stratford to Banbury is good. Can you offer up some more suggesions please.

Would like to plan a route of about 100-150ish miles, then back to peterborough late afternoon. Will ride A422 Banbury to Stratford on my way over Friday so not bothered about getting it in on saturday. Thanks x

A422 is good, from Banbury I would ride north up the Banbury road to southam, A423, nice wide twisty a road.

Here's my route, bit longer than Spiers' would reccomend going through Charlbury, Burford and Bibury if you want to see some nice cotswold villages.

The road that goes through Inkberrow towards Worcester is a great one as well
