Default So I've tried touch up paint...

...on a quite large patch of fairing, and its noticable darker than the normal paint.

I've done 3 coats so far (instructions say several) and its just getting darker!

Yes its the right colour by the way

Any idea if this'll sort itself out thru drying and sunlight?

So I assume you have bought a grand candy blue paint.

Did you use a silver base coat first. and a good lacquer.

Also this time of year make sure your environment is dry and warm otherwise the paint will bloom

From memory candy blue dries a bit matt and then lightens and goes shiny with the lacquer.

Paint the whole bike yellow

Gives it some extra speed and handling too
