yeah still alive folks, caught the flu bug in the middle of something else, what with the diabetes; it put me out for some time, still follicles and fingernail no longer cause pain, just leaden arms & legs along with a drained body system left to contend with, can't rush this one; taking it easy for now, not up to riding yet which is frustrating, not been online much as a "foggy" head went along with everything else, but off the pain meds and antibiotics now so that should improve.

Cheers Mark.

World War I claimed an estimated 16 million lives. The influenza epidemic that swept the world in 1918 killed an estimated 50 million people. One fifth of the world's population was attacked by this deadly virus. Within months, it had killed more people than any other illness in recorded history.

I'd be tempted by the or else, but not after a dose of influenza. Someone else I know has had it and ended up spending a couple of days in hospital. Apparently, being knocked for 6 by the flu gives lots of other bugs an opportunity to have a go too.

Glad to hear Mark's got the energy to complain. Must mean he's on the mend.

Keith.
