Bent Forks... how much is too much?
Anyone know what the max runout on the inner fork tubes (stanchions?) is? Measuring mine with a dial indicator shows 0.762mm of bend. The 'zuki manual doesn't give any service limits for the fork tubes. However, for comparison, the manual says runout of less than .25mm on the front axle is within spec. Not sure if that's comparing apples to oranges. *shrug*

think...and this is only my opninion.. but i think it was 1 or 2mm....
can't swear on it though... will ask Bigape in the morning when i see him... he know as he looked into it a few months back... |
