Default 7/7:A day in London

Just watched it (BBC iPlayer). Some very harrowing recollections of that awful day. Extremely emotionally charged.

That is all.

The effect it had on me doesn't even register compared to those directly involved but I was in London that day, and close to the Tube line that was affected in one of the bombings. Just to say that every time I get on a train into London, and that's every working day, I remember 7/7 and the victims even if it's just for a split second.

I can't help but think something similar could conceivably happen again.

We were talking about this at work today and to be honest, with all the raids and terror arrests that we hear about on the news, I'm surprised someone hasn't slipped through the net and done it again.

I also was in London, working away with no radio, tv, nothing! Nobody could call us because of the mobile networks being shut off and all I remember is hearing police sirens going past constantly and thinking it was very strange.

Let's hope the police keep up their good work.
