Winter Riding
How many of you ride all year round, im seriously debating selling my car, and relying on my bike all year round, maybe getting a winter hack and letting the SV stay in a nice dry garage.

I'll ride to work whenever I can; even rode in after a light fall of snow last winter.
During falling snow or after a heavy fall I think I'd call it quits. |

I don't "put away" my bike over winter, but I do ride a lot less and use the car a lot more for commuting etc.
I'm in the car today |

All year round, but i coummute. I'll go out in anything other than snow, buts that only because i live on a hill and getting the bike out of the garden is bad enough, let alone with snow everywhere!!
I also have a car and would never be without one |

I ride my fazer through the winter, I don't think I would on the SV what with carb icing, corrosion, etc.

I've riden in everthing... even to the point that I had to get off the bike, scrape the ice off my legs helmet and headlgiht (it was making the beam a bit narrow).

ALl year round for me. Only voted that I'd turn to the car in the snow because, well, I haven't tried riding in snow yet.
I'm game for a laugh though, anyone want to lend me their bike so I can practice? |

I've ridden in all British weather conditions. The only one that I'll avoid is snow. It's too dangerous. It sticks to your visor so you can't see and makes it far too easy to come off. A few years ago I dropped my Ducati at less than 5mph on snow. It's not worth the risk.
