Rattle?

ive got a rattling noise which seems to be coming from the left side of my front cylinder which is more noticible when i oppen her up abit. friends say its my camchain tensioner but streetbike have said its just the fairing rattling, me thinks they amm fobbin me off as ive only got warranty til the end of the month or could it be something else? help

Try taking your fairing off and then revving the bike up or going for a short ride, that way you could rule out fairing rattle.

its the black part that goes under the headlight fairing they say was rattling i havent got a full fairing but ill take it off an c

that bits quite easy to remove.

tried it without it on today still rattles more noticable around 5k

just been up streetbike they are now saying its injector noise. i dont know much about this plz help

injector noise? ive never known them make a noise.

Hi. Just seen your Q. I have the same thing on my SV650s K6. It doesn't seem to effect the riding but still annoying. I don't know why it's there. Hoping to get some views from the forum.

Take it somewhere else & get a second opinion. It sounds like it could be the camchain tensioner, if it is it needs sorting pronto! & it also sounds like your dealer is talking Bollix. Injector noise my AR5E!
