Default grab rail gaps is there something to fill em in?

is there anything out there to fill in the gaps left when the grab rail is removed as i saw a fellow svs'er at the gt bentley bike meet who had a rear seat cowl and the gaps were filled in with an identical plastic to what is above the rear light (black metallicish) and i was wondering whether anyone else knew of anything which does this?

You can get 'shutter' covers or something like that.. though I have a seat cowl from pyramid that has the gaps filled in on the cowl.

Banditmania Saddle Shutters... http://www.banditmania.co.uk/Bodywork.htm

£26, not cheap for what's basically two lumps of filler with the wrong sized bolts! But I don'tthink there's much competition. They look like this:

In the main site FAQ somewhere, there's a guy that suggests using cut up material from 3.5" floppy discs!
