Ah bad luck fella, but as already said you are still (relatively) OK. Bugger about the track days and such - this is something you could claim on insurance from 3rd party I'm assuming? I'd hope so in this situation.

Well the good news is the specialist doctor says no break. They cut the plaster off for an examination and I was suprised by the amount of swelling I still have. He was concerned about soft tissue damage around my ankle and calf and I thought he was going to have me platered again. anyway, After a series of very painful strength and movement tests I escaped with just a tubigrip and a course of Physio. Got to go back in a month.

Started putting weight on it this afternoon and delighted that I can hobble quite well. Anglesy here I come

That's really bad news mate, hopefully your foot won't turn out to be broken. A similar thing happened to me when I had my 125.
