Default Gripe of the day - What is yours?

You sure you can't on the 2.2? You can in the 1.9 diesel, but it means you also need to remap.

Did it earlier this year.

Yep pretty sure you can't, got any pictures of your EGR, just wondered if its the same. There's no info on mine. Even on Ebay there's no blanking plates for my engine.

Yes Darren i can see why you might say that, but when this stops working it puts the car into 'limp' mode, which can happen when you're in the outside lane, so you loose all power and acceleration. Which is bloomin scarey with the kids in the car, because you don't know when its going to happen.

The engine doesn't need it to run, it was just to pass the emissions test.

My engine can't be adapted to run without one, so a new one is £200

I think we all should stop stressing about Christmas and think of the families of those killed or injured, and the driver who it sounds like had collapsed at the wheel. If he survives his illness and injuries he'll probably never get over it.

Yep, but I put it down to it being a poor time for news stories, so they have to add spice to the story, otherwise what will they fill their 24 hour news channel with?

BBC have even dragged the 1st minister in to talk to her about it
