Idle Banter For non SV and non bike related chat (and the odd bit of humour - but if any post isn't suitable it'll get deleted real quick). There's also a "U" rating so please respect this. Newbies can also say "hello" here too. |

Er, hello...
Hello Folks,
I have just joined your group in more ways than one. First of all, I have just bought my first SV650s K4, which is also my first real bike. Also I have just joined your group and I would like to say hi to every one and introduce myself. My name is Jayne and I am a bit of an old bird, having spent too many years sat on the tiny seat pads of various blokes bikes, I decided it was time I got my own real bike. I saw the SV in my local bike shop and I fell in love with it immediately. Well, what is there not to love? So having geared my self up, all I have to do now is pass my test and then I can take my baby for a spin. What this means is that I am something of a newbi, so please be patient and don't laugh too hard if I ask stupid questions. Best wishes, Jayne xXx |

Hello Jane, where abouts in the south west are you from? SV owners are few this time of year, we hibernate due to the weather so good to see another. Good choice of bike aswell

Yeah, and every time I see something about a SW rideout and get excited it always ends up being in Wales. You lot should have your own section to avoid my disappointment
On another note, welcome Jayne! If you turn out to be anywhere near me then give me a shout if you need anyone to ride with. |
