Default Urban Hymns

... isn't it crazy that this album in 11 years old.

Just rediscovering it after some years, and it has some fantastic tracks on it.

Anyone else caught up with something they've not heard for years?

A few things of late:

Soul Asylum - Grave Dancers Union
Supergrass - In it for the money
Therapy? - Troublegum

All on my phone for the trip to & from work at the moment. All great albums too.

Probably not your musical cup of tea though...

I actually think "A Northern Soul" is a better album though.

Faithless - Sunday 8pm, is a decade old now, and still one of the best albums of all time.

Great album Urban Hymns - not my usual sort of music but I remember loving it back then. I came across it by accident - I bought the soundtrack to the film "Event Horizon" as it was supposedly done by Orbital who I love but it was total pants so I returned it and they would only swap it and "Urban Hymns" was on the counter so I took a chance on it - a great piece of work.

All the original Orbital albums have been MP3-ised onto my laptop - been enjoying them recently - hard to beleive the oldest is now the best part of 18 years old!

Great Album, I always come back to it, to me its one of the generational albums that makes me think of happier times

Another one I was listening to the other day that I've not for along time is Prodigy - Fat of the land... great album, esp with the volume up

I was a bigger fan of A Northern Soul. But Urban Hymns has some great songs on it (and some average ones too)- Weeping Willow, This Time Velvet Morning are high spots on this album.

I am going to rediscover Spritualized's Ladies And Gentleman We Are Floating In Space B.P soon- a cracking album from around the same time.

I lost my copy of Fat of the Land. Dammit!
