Off roading in Spain or France, who's in?
Been talking to danf about doing a weekend in northern Spain or southern France riding some off road bikes.
Thinking about using one of the companies that supply everything, bikes, protection etc. These are are not like off road days where getting air on a smooth jump is the norm, this is a bit more technical on varied terrain. This is the type of thing, watch the videos... http://www.dustdevils.net/enduro-home/ These are a bit far south unless we got cheap flights, was thinking of making a ride in to getting there and back, Santander ferry down, ride back up through western France and get a ferry back from Normandy to portsmouth or somewhere. |

Is this an open invitation or just for this section/mates etc? If open, when were you thinking of doing this?

I've yet to find the actual place yet, most are based in southern Spain but its two days to get from the ferry and two days back and that will be six days gone then, excluding ferry travel, don't want that. I'll be looking out for some ideas at the dirt bike show and nec as they tend to advertise these things there. |

I've been with these guys several times.
http://www.trailbiketours.com/ They have all the bikes and kit you'll need, they know the routes really well, and you get to stay in nice places. They'll even tailor tours to you groups skills and interests

That looks promising sally, I'll ask them if they would amend the format to suit what we want.
Ideally I want to camp to keep costs down. Cheers |
