Morning Gary. Yes, it's dreich here too.
I'm not sure if this year has been wetter than average so far, or just normal and 2022 was the outlier. Possibly both. Certainly the reservoirs in the Peak District are all full to the brim. |

It was sunny here (Cleethorpes) at 6:30am and is now turning hazy at 10am. I can see the rain coming on the radar though - it has reached Lincoln (38 miles away) so at current speed it will be here in about an hour. I did get time to cut the heads off the daffs/tulips, weed a bit and sit in the sun to do a crossword.

Drizzle on and off most of the day here. Good job I managed to cut the lawn yesterday. Planted out my leek seedlings between the showers and tidied up the greenhouse before getting the growbags set up and tying the support canes to the glazing bars. Looks like this wet weather is set in for a week of more here...

Been across the border over the weekend. Seems here the forecasters exaggerate the bad weather. Not at Tredegar House South Wales Folk Festival. Saturday was wet wet wet Sunday fine Monday wet. Had a great time though.
