Default Street Triple RS 765

Swapped in the Dorso for this today. Loving it so far

Already feel at home in the new riding position. Not as cramped as I thought it might be on the test ride.

Silky smooth engine. Still getting used to the quickshifter. Very nice when I get it right

Tank range is probably double the Dorso. I did about 70 miles and it hadn't reached half way. That's keeping the revs fairly low though.
I've got to keep the revs under 6k until the 600 mile service. Not easy as that is just when the addictive induction howl begins

One of my gripes on the test ride was the tiny rev counter, but the dash has a few layout options to make the rev counter bigger, so no issue there.

In terms of reflections, I'll have to wait for a sunny day to see how bad it is. On the test ride it was reflecting the silver bar clamp a lot.
If it is an issue I might change it for a black one.

I've got a red flyscreen on back-order which covers up the front of the clocks nicely. The cruise control switchgear is also on back-order.

I have an Evotech tail tidy to fit tomorrow and smaller plate. The pillion pegs will be coming off too.

Looking forward to getting some miles racked up

Very nice too. Fly screen is a good idea.

This really bugged me for a while, particularly as the sound of the triple is so vastly different to the SV. Once I realised you can do illegal speeds in second gear, I stopped worrying about it.

Don't forget to take those stickers off your mirrors!

Yeah I've since learned that it doesn't matter what gear I'm in, or what revs - there's power everywhere. 6th gear at 30mph is silky smooth and pulls away no problem.

I'm absolutely falling in love with this bike. It's just so smooth and eager to get going. The engine feels so good. The lightness of the handling reminds me of my TZR250. So chuckable.

The stickers are off! Reflectors are off (although in the picture below). Tail tidy is on. Pillion pegs will be coming off this week once the blanks turn up.

One issue I'm having though is sometimes when hot the bike won't start straight away. I have to hold the starter and it splutters a little then starts. Other times when hot it starts fine. Something I'm going to mention at the 600 mile service.

Looks superb Darren, might be a tiny bit jealous.
