Other riding about?
It being a fair old way down, and me having the whole week off afterwards, I'm thinking I might launch a wee attack on the local roads afterwards... And helpfully, Bike has a rides supplement this month with one route setting out from Shrewsbury, and another 4 in striking distance. So, I reckon if the weather's good I'll stop another day and go riding about. Any personal recommendations? Apart fropm "Don't speed in Wales"?

anywhere in wales northy just keep going west til you hit water. ive never had a problem speeding out in the sticks.

No idea at all, I've still only got the vaguest possible idea of where Shrewsbury. Down and left
 I'll just bring the Ride guide and take it from there I think, no plan is the best plan. Or I might just go home
