Although I have now had an even more random thought. If you had the flamethrowers in front of each wheel, the flames would also burn the diesel in the road before you drove over it. Seems like flamethrowers are the way to go.....

Or melt the Tarmac, turning it into a sticky slippery goo - try wiping that off your visor

Help.... struck with Holiday apathy. Made vague arrangements to travel out to Dalaman (Turkey) with my Aunt for a week next week...

Getting out looks OK, Getting back would entail flying back from Antalya a day early. Looks like there's buses heading backwards and forwards so theoretically possible & only a minor (6hr) headache... but struggling to be bothered for just 6 days.


Course if she actually picked up her phone after telling me to call her and let me know what flight she was going out on I might suddenly be seized with enthusiasm.

I'm just a bit cr*p really then...
