Default pointy power and vibration problems

Just wanted to know your opinions on a few issues before I check my sv1000s into the garage.

It loses power when I change gear and apply the throttle for a second. Fork dives then a clunk from engine some where then picks up and keeps going. It doesnt happen all the time more so in town. Dont think its in 1st gear.

Once on the move it feels a bit breathless between 2.5k revs to 4 where there a bit of vibration and immense walloping type feeling. In top gear past 4k its smooth.

Oh and the usual knocking and rattling, Used to the rattling as per my old curvey but knocking seems like a pneumatic drill. Not too worried about this as it seems the norm. Idle was turned down to about 1k as the needle was bouncing on idle adn this reduced it slightly.

You might just have a loose spark plug cap, or water in there. You can easily fix this yourself, do a search on here as the SV1000 shares the same problem with the SV650.
