Laptop is going off to a friend of a friend to see if its salvagable. 2bh its a piece o crap but I could do without the expense of getting another right now. So you'll have to wait a little while longer yet to see mine

No I transferred them to the laptop after every session
 didnt need to really, each sesh was about 2gb and I was using the 16gb card. would easily have fitted

 if it is freddy funked, you can just plug in a cable to the hard drive and get the files off manually. Well I'm hoping anyway. theres nothing really on it I want bar a few photos of me & the missus and the silverstone vids! I didnt put my itunes on there as laptops have a tendency to break around me
