Default General enquiry

Just been reading Coggsy's post about all the cameras on the A68 ---Have they added new ones then? Whats the A7 like for cameras?

Just that after AR07 we were going up the A7 from Carlisle to Bannockburn and would normally come back down the A68 to Scotch Corner on the way home.

Any local knowledge/info would be useful

How could they possibly put more camera's on that road? ha ha

Ive a good mind to take a spray can of glow in the dark type paint and make it SAFER for everyone by covering the lens for all to see.

Grinds me when you hit england and the camera's are no more!

I have used the A7 over the last few weekends rides and there was no speed cameras on it (my mate has fitted his road angel to his bike that does flag up black spots but no cameras)

its an ace road!! nice fast (within the speed limit officer!) nice twisty corners at the south then as you progress south the corners become more open and faster all the way to galashiels! wicked fun even with the bike packed for camping! ace!!

it depends what part of the road, heading south at some parts where there are straight bits there is a couple, but when you get down into the bendy bits and the longest straight, and all the way to galashiels theres none
