Re: Vintage film cameras
Doesn't come up? Found it, nice Mamiya. Looks a lot like the Yashica Lynx cameras.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Am hoping it's not too hard, Copal shutters are a pig. Bad/good news about the van, know what you mean though, some things we never get around to

Re: Vintage film cameras
It's got to go, I've never regained my mojo to do it so need to move on. I tried to shift it three years ago but decided to keep it, then did diddly squat. She did then do it or get rid. Wife wants to go to Glastonbury one year so we'll probably just hire a camper rather than camp. Got my eye on a VFR750 of some type, always wanted one and they can be had pretty cheap.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Nice, I rode one in 1998, not quite as chuckable as a 600 but comfy and bags of torque

Re: Vintage film cameras
I'm not one for knee down bike chucking, so an easy ride will be ok for me.

Re: Vintage film cameras
The Mamiya arrived today, it's even bigger than the Konica S. Sure enough, winds on but doesn't fire, doesn't seem to be cokking, hopefully no-one else has been in there already. RF patch is a bit faint but it's pretty grubby, and the patch is quite small so looks worse than it is. Not really given it a proper look over yet.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I have a version of the Konica and they aren't particularly small so it must be huge. Probably along the lines of a Yashica Electro.
