I'm sure I've linked you to the list before when you had the tip over sensor tipped over.

c28 is a fault with the secondary throttle valve actuator and I had an intermittent problem with exactly this. I adjusted the STV sensor to give the correct range of output voltage as without this the system thinks that the actuator has a problem cos it doesnt reach its fully open position.

Well u have to get rid of the fault. Easiest if the dealer does it as if its a faulty component they can swop things until its sorted. However in my experience some dont know what theyre doing so I downloaded the workshop manual from this site and followed the instructions for checking settings of the FI system. Only do this if you have the tools and confidence as you could bugger up something expensive. The oil light has 3 functions - high water temp, low oil press. and FI fault so any of these will bring it up.

Just a word of warning - if it's the STV actuator gone proper wrong, it'll cost you a good few bob! Hundreds........ Does it ever get "stuck" at higher revs? If so, problem time. The part that causes the problem is within a factory aligned throttle body assembly . Replacement works wonders.

Now sorted un-pluged all the conectors etc....around the throttle bodies area and then re-conected them again and all seems good now no FI light and no oil light.
