Yorkshire
Im wondering who is from Yorkshire or close enough to get here... Im based near Whitby, there are bike meets on on thursdays at the train station so try to make it down if you can, worst you can do is end up with some of the worlds best fish and chips.
You could also become a pirate (had to get that in there). |

I thought they did curries... Whitby fish are out of the sea and into the batter, cant get better? And tbh your pirate is a Captain or something... more likely to be a mere seaman like seaman baits on pugwash . |

Re: Yorkshire
So what we have here is a Greek who thinks Barnsley is near Whitby, and a Master Baker who seems to live in a country that even the EU left off the map....
Are either of you REALLY Yorkshiremen, like Cap'n Nemo and TimWilky? The best Fish & Chips come from a small place on Westmoreland Street in Skipton - F.A.C.T. -with Bryan's of Headingley, the former title holder, being relegated (like LUFC) for becoming poncey.** AND it was Master Mate in Pugwash, not "seaman baits" (sic). ** Note for Southerners: There are in fact very few bad Fish and Chip shops in Yorkshire, but conversely, absolutely no good ones south of Penistone. |

Penistone is a small market town in the metropolitan borough of Barnsley, in South Yorkshire, England, with a population of 8,727 inhabitants (according to 2001 Census). It lies about eight miles west of the town of Barnsley, in the foothills of the Pennines.

Oi. who you calling a Yorkshireman. does my location <------ (over here on the left) not say it all. I am red through and through (OK a bit of a hybrid on account of the mother being from Skipton). Why bother with fish and chips when you can get a growler from Stamfords to eat on the bridge outside the shop and the warm juice running down your chin.

Re: Yorkshire
good chippy that Hovis but that nicest is the golden haddock at the bottom of sowerby just going out of sowerby bridge towards ripponden they can even be @rsed to take the skin off and bones out, also it was master baits and seamen stains F.A.C.T so Hovis get him off that elephant
