Re: Fuel Exhausts...
I've had my stainless steel oval Fuel on ym SV for well over a year now. I ride my bike in all weathers, yet the quality of finish of the exhaust has remained perfect.
Hugely recommeneded Oh and the noise You'll be hunting out tunnels and forever going from 2000 rpm to redline and back again and generally round like that take kleenex with you each ride to clean up the mess |

Re: Fuel Exhausts...
Have a read in the exhaust section; http://forums.sv650.org/forumdisplay.php?f=137
As with all the budget UK exhausts there isn't much in it between them on sound, the quality of Fuel cans is very good too. |

Re: Fuel Exhausts...
Just got a SS oval Fuel can last week, fitted in less than 20mins,
It sounds decent enough although a little "soft" compared to my previous Remus exhaust which I removed cos I wanted to fit the rear pegs on |

Re: Fuel Exhausts...
Fine exhausts, go on fine.
And the clincher is you get a free mint cake bar. Though they are cheeky f##kers, they won't supply you with replacement packing!

Re: Fuel Exhausts...
How different are replacement slip-on exhausts for different models of bike i.e. Gixxer Fuel exhaust vs. SV650 Fuel exhaust or is it just the link pipe/diameter that matters.
Reason is I see some new exhausts going quite cheap on eBay and wondered if you could fit exhausts intended for other bikes onto the SV if you had the right link pipe? (Or is that a stupid question?) |

Re: Fuel Exhausts...
Most of the budget ones are the same, I think some for different bikes are different diameters. Also some are bolt-on and some slip on.
Basically you can get a link pip made to fit any can to any bike. Zorstec will make you one for £30, beowulf will do the same.
