There are some decent folk in the world.
I went to a house to fit some blinds to windows for a lady. Just before I arrived she had been measuring where a downpipe from her flat garage roof was missing and water had been running down the wall. A tradesman who was doing some work across the road had seen her, went over and measured up, and as I arrived he returned with a downpipe, shoe, and a couple of brackets, handed them to me to fit, and refused any sort of payment from the lady. Top man.
