Headlamps replaced anyway, along with a clutch lever and indicator - thank god for crash mushrooms!!!

High point of yesterday was getting my sister's GZ125 through an MOT with no advisories. The various kludges and bodges have kept me busy on that bike since she bought it a couple of weeks ago, but it felt good to get it through it's first MOT after having been laid up by a previous owner with limited service history 2 years ago.

I'd forgotten how utterly gutless a 125cc of that type is.

My Yamaha YAS1(reg YAL 29H) 125,which I had about 44 years ago,was at the time the fastest,meanest bike I had ever ridden,I've never forgotten that feeling,mind you I was a 28'' waist and about 7 stone lighter then!!!

Prepping the Honda for a euro trip next week. Coolant too low, oil to high and front wheel valve was split. Apart from that ready to go.

Have a safe trip Just waiting for my tail unit to come back today I'm having it lacquered,all ready for TT on Wednesday !!!

Just put new seat unit on,colour match perfect,sprayed it and put deeeeecals on my self,guy down the road lacquered it for a tenner, just want a different end can on when warranty runs out end of month,luvly jubly!!!

Finished fitting the new garmin to the bike, slightly homemade bracket (still not sure what it was off). Spray painted black, it all goes alright. May add another bolt in at somepoint to make sure it holds.
