WTF, checked out the Oulton one at http://www.nolimitstrackdays.com/aca...ton141109.html earlier, then had a few beers, decided I would indeed book it and visited the page only to find the numpties group is now sold out!

If it's any help, when I spoke to no-limits on Thursday they say said there were approximately 20 places left in the novice group for 28th November at Mallory

Just been looking at mallory, is it just me/only look like that on paper or is it a straight track? Oulton looks more interesting

Edit: sorry, I'm being slow I've actually been to mallory and spectated, the tracks slightly more interesting than it appears on the map. I'm fancying it actually as I'm a novice and the only other one I'd consider is oulton but it's described as 'Cadwell on Steroids' so reckon I'd be better off with mallory to start!

Are tyre warmers worth it at all? Just wondering bearing in mind it'll probably be ferkin freezin....

Mallory is not a straight track at all, short but fast and gerrards is a 100MPH + first corner entry.

Big loooooooong right hander to start with, then a straight into a chicane then round a right then left hander, little straight into a hairpin, then the bus stop.

Oh one more thing, am I better delaying swapping my squaring tyres til after the event or getting them changed asap and hittign the track with some slightly worn in tyres?

Depends how square, do they affect you cornering/turning in that much?
