Default GSXR Srad USD forks

Anybody know if the front spindle from a 1995 SRAD 750 model USD fork will fit the earlier 1991 slingshot 750 USD fork. Both fork leg bottoms look very similar online

I know the fork leg diameters are the same at 50mm (top) & 54mm (bottom) and I know that the SRAD had a different top bearing to the slingshot. But what about the wheel spindles?

Nope. M has threads in fork bottom, SRAD has threaded spacer and is chunkier hollow section axle. 99% on that.

Ta YC, maybe the upper fork legs are the same. I'll have to check the part numbers.

Its one upper that I need, but I haven't seen any on evilbay. So I was looking at a set of forks and then sell my pair. But if SRAD ones are different, then time to look for the fork leg upper

Maybe they fit, maybe they don't. Cartridge and cap are definately different, not sure whether they are same thread pitch though.

I could measure pitch on cap of 99 SRAD for you, but guess you could do this on your...

I would just buy SRAD part and avoid messing around. Maybe find some SRAD ones with knackered chrome?

Srad forks are a lot shorter than old GSXR ones.
