I only ever got my knee down once , in the early 90`s . It hurt like hell as I was wearing tracky bottoms at the time ....... never done it again and don`t see the need for it on the road either . Congrats on ticking this off your list though

I'm a stumpy (28") legged 5' 8", and I find it relatively easy to do now, even on jacked up ZX10Rs with rearsets. You just have to hang off more and twist a bit. Body position is all important.

Ha ha. Aye. I just dont do it... Maybe one day ill get some knee sliders and have a crack at it, I should be able to do it... I can get rid of the strips so I presume lean angle isnt an issue.

Damnit, hanging off the bike, twisting in various fashions and knee down has given me sex legs! Felt like a proper good workout. Cheaper than gym, too.

Last time I got KD on the SV it just felt like I was falling off as my toe was in the wrong place, pegs were down and juddering off the ripples in the tarmac. And I was going about 20mph slower than normal...

Still fun though
