Yet another curvey headlight upgrade question
This isnt just for me either btw, but for all those poor souls who came into Llanberis on sat night in the dark on the NW3. God I didnt realise how bad the lights on the curvey where until saturday just gone so want to upgrade to a better bulb, heard the blue vision is quite good, but is there anything better out there ? Ive had a look through the threads and the silver stars get a good write up too, what would any of you recommend please.
Thanks |

Re: Yet another curvey headlight upgrade question
Osram Nightbreakers would be the next upgrade from the silverstars.
I know that Northwind has tried a HID kit as well |

Re: Yet another curvey headlight upgrade question
Osram nightbreakers are H4's.
Or Phillips X-treme Power. both have pushed the design to new limits, creating bulbs that are road legal but put out 90% more light (claimed) than standard H4. I put +70% bulbs in my Curvy and there is a real improvement. Even standard H4 60/55W are better than curvy standard bulbs which are 45/40W IIRC. See this lot |
