Today I've been striping down the front end of the VFR. Forks need some paint.

Finally worked out how to get the top cover off the radiator in the kitchen to clean inside it!

It's annoyed me for ages and I finally worked out that the plastic clips (noticed they are C shaped) at the bottom spin to release the sides and then the lid came off.

Sounds simple and it is but not obvious until you lay on the floor swearing at it

My replacement foot peg rubber came so as long as the weather holds I'll be laid down in the garden fitting that in the morning.

Today I performed some surgery on an old air filter and threw some jets in the carbs to suit. Hopefully they'll be a decent match on the road bike and can get shifted into the race bike. Also repacked the race bike's micron can in the hope of having a nice safe line under the dB limit.

A drill. I got a sparrow terrace for my birthday the other week and as it was nice and mild today I fished out the long ladder to install it. Also blocked up the gaps to stop the little blighters nesting under my tiles. Fingers crossed.
