Oh mighty org: Career advice
Ok, I am 37 years old been in reprographics for just over 16 years and i need a change as my current company I feel are stopping me form getting on. Here is my 'CV' and i need some ideas as to what i would be suited to. I need to earn around £25k pa
Things I can do/have experience of: Managing a team of up to 10 people and all the stuff that entails (Development, appraisals etc) Managing a contract value of £500k Pa Ordering and stock control Basic project management Operation of printing machines Process creation and management Providing quotes and stuff like that Dealing with customers up to Director and CEO level Creation and presentation of management information reports Planning and scheduling of work Other skills IT literate (Good skills in Word/Excel/Powerpoint) I understand networks and some of the principles Good with staff (Long term members on team) Good with customers Very hands on I’m interested in: Property Automotive industry Music industry Technology Bad skills Get bored easily Not good with dealing with conflict (I get by, but could be better) |

Knowing you and what you have listed, maybe Facilities (building) management?
You can get involved with anything from building control systems, organising water, power, etc, office moves, to getting the lightbulbs changed. Shrug. Dan |
