More swimming
I have been swimming at least 2K a week for about the past 5 years.
I had a swimming lesson last night to improve my stroke and now I can't swim anymore. |

Re: More swimming
doggy paddle was flattering it !
Need a lot of practice doing the drills with floats and stuff. I've got a few bad habits to un-learn on my breast stroke too ! |

Re: More swimming
I'm well impressed that you have taken on lessons, you obviously can swim, but you still want to learn more
An ex member of our family(complicated I know!) was a swimming instructor .... we used to swim 3-4 times a week together. He was great for helping me improve my stroke, (oh er!) and he taught me them fancy tumble turns ..... which I love for keeping the flow of the stroke. I like using the floats and drills when I get a bit bored of just swimming. When is your next lesson? |

Re: More swimming
Next wednesday.
Was in the pool for about 1 hour 20 mins last night (30 mins lesson, 50 mins practicing on my own) I am so knackered today (and hungry ! ) I have been trying to do 3 stroke breathing however I seem to find it much easier breathing to the right so I might have a go 4 stroke next time. |

Re: More swimming
I haven't been swimming since I saw that scene in Caddyshack.
