Default Bar end mirrors for a curvy

Looking for some bar end mirrors for my retro/racer mod - problem is the curvy's bars have a pre-threaded inside, so most bar ends for 'hollow bars' won't work

Anyone found any that do?

I'm really looking for some brushed silver ones that are just plain 'round'

The ones designed for hollow bars come with inserts that expand when tightened. Can't you just remove the insert and screw the bar end in to the curvy's stock threaded insert?

I'm just guessing as I don't have experience of curvys

Yes and no.

You can remove the insert to reveal the bolt (the gold bit in the pic below), so that's ok, but as with the image below, most seem to have a at least a short length of the main 'bar end' piece that gets inserted into the bar

One option I suppose is just to remove the bolt and hack-saw that 'insert' bit off

Ahh I see. These look quite nice and don't look like they have insert bits

Yep - having spent a good hour Googling, I think that's what I'll have to do.

I've bought a set of these to tinker with...
