Currently sitting in the wars, pre op consent has been done, we've been here for an hour and a half. She's staving and desperate for a cuppa, but can't

My car park ticket runs out in 15min, why can't it be free for folks going in for an op?

I thought I'd be out of here by now, and I'm starving too

Not too bad, in a bit of discomfort, but nothing that ibuprofen and paracetamol won't help with. She just needs to get mobile, the nurse was trying to get her out of bed. Until she does, she won't get discharged.

As usual no one gets a good nights sleep in hospital, so she's tired, plus they wake you up in the middle of the night to give you your meds and check your blood presure and sats. Food isn't great, its no better than when i was last in!
She should be released tomorrow.

I bought her an Amazon Fire Stick for Christmas, as i knew she'd be stuck in bed for a few days after this op, and ive just set it up. Im impressed with it, so it should keep her amused.

Glad she's on the mend now then Mav. Hopefully she'll be back up and about again soon. Stressful time for both of you I should think.

Yep full on blue asre fly mode right now for me, something lost on my sister, who is still sending unimportant text messages with exclamation marks at the end.

Glad I've got the Org to vent my anger. Notice no exclamation marks.

Oh and dont forget to have a bit of a battery charge for yourself as soon as you can ok, somthing i keep forgetting to do.
