gpx project
just bought a gpx400 with a gpz600 block.
its been off the road for about three years. with the wealth of knowledge out there. can you just point me in the right direction, other than the usual oil and brake fliud change, what else should i be looking at ready for a possible mot i am going on holiday for two weeks now, so thanks in advance. i will make any replys on my return

SV650SY, tinted double bubble, tail tidy, belly pan, hugger, delkevic can (sounds sweet) forgot to add... in the best colour CANDY GRAND BLUE GPX400R with gpz600 block. getting some work done by myself to get it back on the road. |

Strip all suspension, brakes, bearings. Clean and grease.
Change all fluids, pull all wiring connectors apart, check for corrosion and put back together with grease, charge/replace battery, check airbox for families of mice (it does happen! it does make a mess!). New plugs, possibly HT leads and pipework. That should see it about right anyway. Other stuff will come to light when you run it for a bit.
