Places in Scotland.
Long time no see
(I haven't ditched SV forum for GS forum... I was just busy ) Anyhoo! Me and the other half want to take a nice trip up to Scotland, preferably South of Scotland since it's our first big trip, but we're not sure of any good landmarks that have a nice cabin to stay in for the week? We want somewhere with nice views but also have some nice roads to cruise along when/IF we get some nice weather. I've had a look at log cabin websites and tried to look at roads but.. I'm useless with that kinda' stuff. Thanks! And hallo again I guess ^_^ Amy. |

Someone should set up a website that would help you find places and roads.

It's just a shame they're not up and running yet but hopefully either the locals to the area of one of the guys involved with this will pipe up shortly with a suggestion or two. (that or rictus, I think he's ridden every road in England[sometimes before lunch] so it wouldn't surprise me if he's covered most of Scotland too) |

Re: Places in Scotland.
Go to Beinglas farm at loch lomond, then ride to ullapool, round to john o'groats and back down the east coast.
Go now as the weather is better there than it is here, just a bit chilly. Enjoy |

one of the guys involved with MotoGoLoco - Hi! If you're planning on coming up for a week, are you wanting to stay in the once place or do a bit of hopping and touring about while you're here? And, depending on how big a must the log cabin bit is, I know rather a few places dotted around here that I'm sure would be delighted to see you? Last edited by JamesMio; 04-04-13 at 04:08 PM. |

Re: Places in Scotland.
As for roads - this might do you for starters, but there's shed loads more we (as in the collective SV Ecossee lot) could suggest for you too...
