Default Too much liquorice

I love liquorice at least as much as the next person. It does have its downsides, such as exploding bums and eventual stasis due to chronic potassium overdose, but it is nice. Maybe this next bit is a testament to either how difficult it is to buy presents for someone as cynical as me, or the lack of imagination of my family, but last Christmas I received five containers of allsorts, totaling 2.9kg. So far I've polished off the Drug Mule Bertie one, you know, the plastic figurine where you unscrew his rear and reach inside to pull out the bags of gear. Anyway I still have most of this stuff left. WTF am I supposed to do with it?
It's a serious question. It would seem a shame to waste it, despite our world being more full of sugar than any of us need.

Send some to me, I don't have the same addiction as you, but I don't mind a bit of liquorice, and I'm sure my team will help polish it off! I know your issue, I get a load of old crap, because of the lack of imagination.

If not can an old folks home take it?

Now If it were Haribo?

Just ask them?

I'd guess any kids or adults surviving on the basics would see it as a luxury they couldn't afford. In the WW2 chocolate was a luxury, it's a similar time for some?

For the people referred to foodbanks its worse than rationing in WW2 because back then it was the same for everybody.
Its really hard to imagine what it must be like having to go to a foodbank.
But hey, that's what happens when people keep voting tory.

Unfortunately so. TBH I hadn't thought about it that way, I'd presumed donations of essentials were what would be wanted. Thanks
